This weekend, Michigan Central Station will open its doors for a look at its iconic past, while offering a glimpse into an exciting future.
Ford Motor Company invites you to tour the station's grand architecture, explore its rich history and share your hopes for the city of Detroit. This free event features an exhibit, produced in collaboration with the Detroit Historical Society plus a variety of interactive activities, including a Ford STEAM Lab and live mural making by local graffiti artists Fel3000ft and Shades.
All guests must RSVP individually. Please note that capacity is limited. Guests will be served on a first come, first served basis, and guests should anticipate significant wait times.

Parking will be available next to the Michigan Central Station at 2280 17th Street.
To access the lot, turn on to 17th Street from Michigan Ave.

To find our designated rideshare pick-up/drop-off location, enter “Michigan Central Train Depot”.
Public Transportation
Michigan Central Station is accessible via busses 18, 37, 49, and 89. There may be service disruptions, please make sure to check DDOT and SMART websites for updates.
- Must be at least 18 years old to RSVP; must be accompanied by a parent/guardian if under the age of 18.
- Each individual attending must RSVP.
- Individuals may RSVP for multiple days with separate RSVPs for each day.
- Pre-registration is recommended.
